Or if you're shedding much more than 100 hairs a day when you comb it regularly and your hair appears to be thinning or you're having bald spots or your scalp has a sensation that you're not used to accompanying the excessive shedding or thinning or balding.
Keep in mind, if you're on a low manipulation regi, when you next detangle or comb your hair, it'll appear to shed more just cause all the daily shedding was caught within your hair and falls out on the day you comb. Doesn't mean it all shed that very day.
This is what I realized a day or so ago. I'd notice that at the end of the day as I was prepping my hair for bed, I'd have "all" this shedding-hair shed about the size of a quart. It wasn't broken hair. I checked though the ball for the white bulbs and there they were.
At first, I was about to start freaking out--thining I was on a shedding frenzy, but then I thought about how I was on a low manipulation reggie. It occured to me that this was all the hair that would have shed if I had been combing my hair every day, which I don't do.

I started cracking up when I read this post, because, if I had had a digital camera at that time, I would've snapped a picture and posted with a crazy message like "SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE!!! SHEDDING ALERT!!"
That's why I'm grateful for this forum, because there's always somebody here who'll 1.) calm you down and 2.) give you an insightful perspective on your problems
