Dear Father in Heaven...
Somewhere in the world each day,
Men and Women have hearts which pray
For the safety and protection of their loved ones
in Service
and in war
We lift our hearts in prayer to join them
We pray for the young men, barely 18
Who joined the Navy or Army to fulfull a Dream
to keep our country strong
We pray for the woman, who left her family alone
We pray that you keep her safe and bring quickly back home
Keep her husband secure, and her babies at peace who miss her
Keep angels on guard beside her,
let her know you are the one who guides her
for each order of her day.
We pray for sons and daughters,
who have traveled many waters
so far away from home...
Keep their hearts strong,
Give them peace,
that they've done no wrong
to fear not punishment, nor rebuke
nor the battle of despair
We pray for the injured, those disabled
and those whose limps no longer there
Father, you are still 'Healer' to each of them
no matter what, no matter where
Restore to them, that which has been lost
Thank you for tending to every care :Rose:
For those mentally and emotionally impaired
You are still the God of Peace
and for each one, your love is shared
to make them whole again; mentally strong
Keep the older men strong and wise
Lead them in safety, bypass all danger
which tries to arise
Let their enemies turn back, let not their weapons prosper
Stifle their aim, remove their target, let them all, misfire
Keep our men and women covered
with your full armour of love
Shield their faith with your Word
forever settled in Heaven above.
Give peace to the families of these brave ones so loved
Secure their hopes of seeing them safely home again,
to embrace them with a thousand hugs
Father remove the contenders and their political stress
Disable the ones who've created this mess ...
Let them think twice, before they act
they have no right to dump their mess
upon someone else's back...
Our Country has lost enough of precious lives and souls
It's time to remove their hands from the controls
and let this land be at peace.
Men and women, who ever you are and no matter how far
We love you and honour you and our prayers are beyond words,
for in our hearts, you live forever and even more in the heart of God.
