Someone please help me on this!

Im can't find the threads on conditoner washes and I wanted to know what they were and how to do them. My hair is breaking badly because I used a dominican deep conditioner that didnt agree with my hair so I figured maybe a CW would help bring back the moisture... Am I on the right track? if so, how do you do a CW?
