I don't get haircuts. But if I did, I would go to a place that specializes in dealing with curly hair. Devachan in Manhattan comes immediately to mind, though any salon is risky to me. I'm nervous like that about hair cutting.

i get my hair straightened to get it cut. but i lucked out and found a stylist who has been relaxed and natural, and knows how to work with many different textures of AA hair. she gave me the best layers ever... my hair looked great flat ironed, and i was even happier when i washed it and my shake and go had the best shape ever.

I dont get cuts...but I go to Euphoria salon (which is an aveda concept salone very 6 months) for trims:yep: me and so1913 have similar hair types but I think her curl pattern is slightly looser and her hair is finer.

I go to Stacey's Hair studio but I only get trims not cuts. Stacey is a curly lady so she understands and she does exactly what is asked of her. I don't think I could trust anyone else.
