My goal for now is bra strap. It will take a while to get there. I think by the time I finish the bun challenge next august, I should be there. It seems so far
But once I get there, I will definitely be motivated to grow further
. The day I graduate college I want my hair to be mid-back. So that'll be June of 2005. And my reward will be wearing it down for graduation. I'll get to strut across the stage with hair flowin' down my back. I'll have GREAT graduation pictures
. After that I guess I'll be maintaining it for a while. I think I'd like to grow my relaxer out after that. Then I can have a whole NEW long hair journey!
I hope the LHCF will still be around years down the road...
Good topic, I will definitely maintain and go for more thickness, but I'll let my hair grow longer if it wants to. I will experiment with different buns and twists and natural styles. And of course wear it down and let it swing for alll tha haters.

When I reach my hair goal I'm gonna walk down the street swinging my hair so hard that it's gonna knock a few people in the eye causing temporary blindness.
I'll probably grow a big head to match...and drive everyone around me nuts.
Then when the novelty wears off or I begin to miss having friends
I will find my way back to earth (from cloud nine). There I will set a new goal and quickly rediscover humility...well, until I get to that new goal. And then the monster shall reappear.
But I won't ever forget the family that helped me get there (((LHCF)))... I'll probably wear a T-shirt that tells it to the world.
Something like "Wanna know how I got this cute? I'm a graduate of LHCF, School of Magic."

I will cry with relief and then I would see if I could go any longer.

Happy birthday, Karezone
.
As for the hair question, I'd probably just start trimming the ends more often to make sure that my hair stays healthy and thick. I would continue on my routine.
When I reach my goal,
* I will maintain it
* Stop taking vitamins for hair growth
* Keep it braided in cornrows and individual braids without extensions.
I can't wait. I'm not too far away from where I want to be for a first goal, but ultimately midback, when will I get there?
Anyway, I will take lots of pictures and trim often. Then I will be on a mission to help those around me grow theirs, I figure if they can see how long my hair is they will believe what I'm saying as far as how to make it grow. I have one project (one of my close friends) I'm working on currently who is very pleased w/her hair right now. I'm doing all her trims and relaxers. She's happy w/the growth she's gotten. She calls me her new hairdresser
I have reached one goal already, the 6 inches in 365 day challenge. I am excited to see what my particular growth cycle is from here on. If I can achieve 30 inches (I need 8 more inches to achieve this) I would like to teach other women what I have learned and help them to properly take care of their hair. I would be all about helping people.
