Water.

To be more specific, I infused herbs/flowers that have nice benefits for hair. like horsetail & nettle, in water. They make my hair so shiny and soothe scalp. and when I add hibiscus and ylang ylang mmmh the smell ! :drunk: . Very simple just like you are doing a tea.
I also add squalane, panthenol, inulin or silk protein powder, depending on hair needs and season.

Very simple just like you are doing a tea for drinking. I think every natural brands like oyin, darcy's, curl junkie, have a herbal-infused-in-water-based moisturizer.

I use it every to every other day. then seal.

I have lots of other moisturizers, but try to use one of these at least every other day. Just trying to use up most of my other stuff, but my faves are:

Marie Dean's Cocoa Pudding

Zipporah's Vanilla Mint Serum

Qhemet's Amla & Olive Heavy Cream

:lick:

2x daily, I'm repairing some damage and re-tooling my routine

1. Water or Blue Malva Infusion:Fresh Aloe Juice 12:1 ratio
2. KCKT

So far I'm loving it

If I'm out of Malva, Marshmallow or Irish Moss like I am now then it's water in aloe. If no aloe plant, then LOTD Inner Filet, or St. George's. If no herbs, no aloe and no KCKT - then just plain old fashioned H2O :)

I do wonder about overdoing the slip from the KCKT & infusion, LHF had a thread abt it which I should check out again.

Pierrot I seriously want to buy some blue malva flowers, I don't know if you have a review about this alone or you only used it mixed with others plants ? id like to know. I also sometimes only do infusion:aloe juice.

Qhemet Biologics Aethiopica Twisting Butter
Love this stuff! I use it after I wash my hair, when I need to moisturize after a mist of water, and when I style my hair in braids. It is tied with my beloved coconut oil. I will never be without these two. EVER!

Water, UBH Satin Creme for hair and ends
ORS Carrot Oil for scalp and edges

I use these products every morning and every night. Keeps my hair shiny, moisturized and most importantly it keeps it from breaking so I don't loose progress.

i moisturize daily.....at night i use:
giovanni leave in condish and
amla oil pomade or atheopika hydrate and twist butter - depending on how my hair is feeling and how far along in the week i am (further from last wash) both of these products are by Qhemet
seal with JBCO

in the morning:
just a dab of the hydrate and twist butter or a bit of watermelon seed oil - again, depending on how my hair feels

HTH :drunk:

Salut Krystle!

Biz!

I moisturize every day/every other day/every 3 days depending on how dry my hair is.

When Pressed Straight:
KeraCare's Conditioning Creme Hairdress (new gold-colored formula) - LOVE!!!
and seal with Hot 6 Oil/KeraCare essential Oils

When Not Straight:
Qhemet's Olive and Honey Hydrating Balm
and Qhemet's Amla And Olive Heavy Cream
:lick:

I'm really enjoying Qhemet Moisturizers (Burdock Root Butter Cream and Amla & Olive Heavy Cream). I only use these when my hair is NOT straight. They're both great.

Oyin Handmade's Hair Dew
Oyin Handmade's Whipped Pudding (which I use primarily during colder months since it's heavier)

I do want to try Qhemet Biologics Burdock Root Cream, though.
