I think a half wig isn't meant to be worn from crown to nape. It actually comes with a comb so that you can attach it to your hair. I believe you are suppose to use your hair to cover it. Maybe some more experienced ladies can chime in and give a better explanation.

It's like a wig, but you leave the front of your hair out and blend. They attach with combs in the front and back. I love them, though I haven't been wearing them lately, I'm going to start back. With a half-wig, I can feel glam without damaging my hair with heat styling, etc.
Hairsisters.com has a good selection, but for a first timer, I might visit a beauty supply store to try a few on. I have some I've ordered online that sit in a drawer because they just weren't what I neeeded them to be, didn't look as great on me. I also have others that I've only been able to find online and I love them- but had to reorder to get the exact right color.

It's the same thing as a fall, instant weave, quick weave, etc. It's a wig but it has a comb in the front and the back. You leave some of your hair out to blend with it. Well I don't. I just wear mines like a full wig with a headband in the front. But that's the point. That you leave some of your hair out. Glib you can buy them at any BSS. They usually start at 19.99 for synthetic. Human hair will run you more $$.

Half wigs are the truth! I love grabbing a cute half-wig for a fast, sexy style without frying my hair. They are a fantastic protective style because I know I am usually moisturizing the bejeezus out of my ends under mine.
I just found one this week that matches my braidout texture!!

Yes! I loved her one legged styles and that head of hair ! Her body was amazing too! I still watch her races from time to time on youtube! Classic
