So a couple of days ago, I gave in to my desire to relax my natural hair. I was bent on doing it against all common sense. So I apply the relaxer in a crazy haphazzard way...I freaked out as soon as I started doing it - I was terrified of burning myself so I just hurried it through and then rinsed it out. When I was done, my hair looked like how it did before but the back part was more loose/springy and hung down more (I have a TWA). The centre/crown of my hair is the SAME shrunken tight dry curly way it was before. The front is wavy as it was before.

So I kinda liked it at first, but I'm in the same boat as I was before. It's still the same look but now there's chemicals in it!!! If I had known I wouldn't have done it to be honest, because I have the same look (natural) It's just a little bit looser of a curl pattern with the crown area waaay underprocessed.
I'm not sure what to do: I'm hesitant to bust out some more relaxer (I used Silk Element Shea Butter LYE mild formula) and go over my hair again to be fully relaxed - I do NOT want to be bald, lol. Or just continue on as though nothing ever happened? Nobody can tell that I even did anything to.
I guess what I want to know is will I suffer repurcussions by just leaving it and never correcting or retouching? Can I go on as if I never messed with it in the first place? Or should I go and have this fixed.
I shoulda just left it alone...I don't want to start losing hair though...HELP!
