After a 14 week stretch. I called my stylist around 11:30 last night and told her that I can't can't take it no more. She laughed and said that I could come in Saturday morning. I heard that I should put castor oil on my scalp to prepare for a relaxer. Is there anything else I should do to protect my hair and especially my ends???
P.S. I just washed my hair last night...I don't know if that will help or hurt me

im not sure but i thought your hair had to be dirty to relax. maybe not dirty but i mean washing the night before, i dont think thats right. but again im not sure

I dont think its a good idea to wash your hair the day before a relaxer. I would try to manipulate my hair MINIMALLY a few days prior to relaxing. No scratching etc. I think a light oil application would be fine either in the hair or int eh relaxer itself.:yep: ***but then again the last time I had a relaxer was almost 3 years ago so take my advice with a grain of salt***
