I was a little upset at first because I am above ApL but I feel that my ends are even now...so I just have to keep my ends healthy & protected. I will be going back to wigging :)

I will apologize for some of the blurry pics, didn't realize that until I posted them.

The cut looks really nice. You did a good job. I am in love with hair cuts, it always makes the hair look so fresh and new.

If you did this cut yourself could you tell me what technique you used to get it so even, and what shears you use. TY

Thanks ladies! :)

Seamonster I use the inexpensive hair scissors from Sally's, can't remember the brand but I can only use them a few times and have to throw them out.

I really don't have a technique lol...I just start from the nape, part across in small sections and trim. Since my nape is always the shortest part I don't use that as a guide to cut all my hair.

After I cut the nape I continue to part from ear to ear in small sections and use the hair after my nape as my guide as how short to cut the rest of my hair. This works great for me but I know there are different ways to cut or trim :)

Do you know what was causing the thinning and breakage? I've become kinda obsessed with preventing that myself. You seem to have a great, balanced attitude about this whole hair thing!:yep:

Charla I think it has something to do with my iron defeciency anemia. A few months back I had to get 3 pints of blood & I knew it would have some affect on my hair sooner or later.

The cut definitely made your hair look a lot healthier. I'm sure you will get your length back in no time.
