Hell I got weave check twice in one day. I jus couldn't believe it cuz my hair is not even grazing anything remotely close to where I want it to be. Anyway after I did get the whole weave check deal, I came home and told my s/o. At first her was like, what's a weave check? But after I explainwd it he was like ya know its a damn shame if a black woman get hair past her ear (lol) or her neck then they automatically assume its weave.

BTW: I've found the length does not always get you a weave check. A lot of times, hair that looks shiny and healthy gets checked. I also notice that hair radiant in color gets checked too. So, whoo hoo! You may have all of the above!

After shaving my whole head... i think i can recall only one BALD check...2 years ago. it was just a fast swipe across the back of my head.. before i could blink, the "perp" was already moving quickly away from me.

For me it's the length....sometimes when my hair looks a mess people touch it because they think its a BAD weave or wig erplexed

and yes, some folks will do some crazy mess like this.. I went home and washed my whole head.. Not the only the back, but the front as well. Oakland has a lot of nasty homeless people running around...
