So I bought a hair steamer. Now what???

I've never used a steamer so I have no idea how it works. I'm seriously thinking about buying one though. Do you have to add water to it? I assume yes, do you ladies use mineral water? Does this mean you can add natural and essential oils to it? TIA.

I would recommend using distilled water. I made the mistake of using rosewater in my steamer.

This is a great thread I got my steamer right after tg, and I've used it maybe 4 times since, and I love it! I've been using a cap, and been wondering abt using it w/o so I guess I will now to get additonal bennies!
