i can get my hair to do anything under the sun if it’s strait but when it involves curls, it has a mind of it’s own! i might as well have put some twists in my hair b/c that’s what this reminds me of. [lol]

i also attempted to rollerset my entire head a week ago and gave up. besides the cramping of my hands as i tried to rollerset going up, the damn rollers would not stay put! no matter how tight i rolled and then clipped them, my hair always said NO and waved back up.

i commend all you ladies that have the patience to do this, b/c clearly i can not!

i’m off to break out my flat-irons…

[edit] the pics are from when i woke up this morning...lol. as u can see, i can't sleep with rollers. [/edit]

I never mastered it either, hon... that's why I do semi-natural or straight and forget curls, unless they involve an iron.

Your hair does look pretty in the last pic...

The hair in the rollers do not look tight, they look kind of loose. It needs to be tight. And the hair must be very wet when rollersetting. Anky 's tip really helped me about wetting the rollers with water and then rolling up the hair. This makes the hair stick to the roller easily. Is that the scarf in the first pic or a bonnet? If it is a scarf, it doesn't look like it's on tight enough.

that's just it, my hair was soaking wet when i rolled it. the pics are from when i woke this morning! [lmao]

after i washed my hair, i put my hair back, wrapped the silk scarf over it, rolled the hanging hair tight, and put on a satin bonnet. :perplexed
