Hi,
I'm new to the site. I have been natural for a little over a year. I found out the hard way that my hair is protein sensitive. So, I've been staying away from protein and focusing on moisturizing. I currently have a sew in now, but when I take down...I know my hair will need some type of moisture/protein treatment for both dryness and strength. I was thinking of making something. Let me know what you ladies think:
-good moisturizing conditioner (haven't decided on which one to use yet)
-honey
-castor oil
-egg
So, do you just crack open a egg and mix it in with what I listed below? Also, is egg a lighter protein than using something else?
Thanks

yes I've been slacking...I have done an egg treatment every once in awhile and it leaves ur hair soft and strong..
it had peices of thick kinda like yolk from a boiled egg.
I've seen somewhere about using real mayo and put it with oil. I heard it stinks but I wonder if you can put vanilla extract to lessen the smell.
