I haven't been in a relationship in 2 years and I have not dated for one year, so I'm feeling major butterflies with this guy

We've been talking for a couple of years but only recently started dating over the holidays

Sounds very exciting :yep: It's normal to have butterflies on a first date, he probably has them too :lol:
 
Yeah, my Santa is coming to town in 2 weeks and I'm sooooooooooo excited. I can't eat, been exercising and doing great on my homework assignments because of the nervousness. This dude here, this dude here has everything I said I wanted. It's frightening.

it's this weekend (the whole weekend)

he lives 2 hours away plus it's a long weekend b/c of the MLK holiday off from work :)

LOL yeah well I have 2 more days before he gets here so I'm gonna clean some more (I think he might be sensitive to the dog's hair since he's a big dog), do some laundry so I can have more choices of what to wear, plan my makeup and accessories, shave, etc hahaha

yeah my family said the same thing (don't cook lol)

the house is having construction on it anyway so it'd be a bit noisy

he's visiting from a couple hours away. I will be moving there this summer

well I was reallllllly nervous until he got there but calmed down once he arrived. we laugh a lot together so that makes me realize being nervous is kind of silly

I'm going out there next weekend for business but he asked if I'll make time to see him, too

we had fun at the colonial tour going inside of buildings and checking out how people lived, ate, danced, etc. apparently the Queen of England comes here every 50 years and was here in 2007, so certain parts of the governor's palace was spruced up for her. it was so nice! I wish I lived in a huge home with a maze for a garden.

then we went to get dinner

we both didn't sleep last night so he brought me home about an hour ago and we're not morning ppl so we're going to see each other again around noon lol

he's so funny driving his rental car. he doesn't drive where he lives so it's cute seeing him leave the high beams on in areas where it isn't necessary. some deer ran up on his car smh. that scared him haha
 
we did the tour again the 2nd day because we didn't get to see everything we wanted the first day. then we got dinner and were going to see a movie but got lost in the extremely lame weather. all the rain and fog just made it so hard to know where we were lol. I should've made him drive to the theaters I was familiar with, but smh some guys just don't want directional help so I let him get lost haha.

instead of going to the movies we just went back to the hotel. had some drinks, listened to music, he got a workout in briefly, and we just ordered movies there.

the last day we went to the winery. I had a good time with him. I should be seeing him again this weekend when I go out to his city on business. I'll have time.

he still wants to pursue a serious relationship with me but he said he'll be patient since I expressed that I still want to take things slow. We agreed not to see other people, though. My dad would be proud. I used to always date multiple people at once.

To the other lady who got to see her man or the guy she's dating, I hope you enjoyed yourself, too!
 
Thanks for sharing with us Creolesugarface!! Sounds like you two really hit it off and that you really like him. Hoping it grows into a wonderful relationship for you :yep:
