So apparently I'm texlaxed! yay! totally accident.Can i treat it like natural hair?

The very front is pretty str8 but the rest still has some curl to it. Can I put gel in it? or would that be too harsh on my processed hair? Is it healthy to wear wash and gos everyday with a texlax?

Well, I've been texlaxed for six or seven months now, and I'm just getting to to point where I can wash and go. And, it still has to be in a pony. My leftover fully relaxed ends would not cooperate before! But, honestly my hair prefers to be straight. I flat iron it most of the time. I think it depends on the texture of your hair. But, it won't hurt to try. Just pay attention to how your hair behaves with the wash and go.

P.S. I wouldn't do gel though. Maybe a light mousse. Gel has a tendency to dry your hair out and with a curl/wave pattern you want all the moisture you can get!

I am texlaxed and I do wash n gos and I use gel, I use the Fantasia IC with Spaklelites and it doesn't dry my hair out, I just do a little scrunch and my curls go into place. I love my tex lax hair!!!
