Hi Ladies,

Just wondering if any of you have any opinions on this product. I saw a girl working in Best Buy on black friday and she had a beautiful thick healthy strong head of hair. You know hair that looks like it could be tied into a knot for Fructis commericials:lol: . So ofcourse I went into LHCF mode inspecting her mane while trying to buy a flat screen TV at 5:30am...lol:lachen: . Anyway I decided to come right out and tell her how beautiful I thought her hair was especially at 5:30am...anyway she was very gracious and told me that she swears by Smooth and Shine Critical Repair. She told me even though the instructions tell you to rinse out the product after a minute or so she leaves it in overnight and then rinses it out.

I was wondering if any of you had any opinions on it. And if you do how do you use it, and how often?

TIA

It's strange but it has several other ingredients that sound really good. I'm going to try it in a week or so. If it works well as a light protein that would be good because it's cheap!

I swear by it. I mix it with my other, lil ol' cheap ORS replenishing pak, and WHAM, BAM:bdance:. Make ya think ya using a Nexxus or Biolage, or one of those pricey products, and it's only a buck:lol:.

I love this stuff. I have never left it in that long, though. I should try it.

I don't have a problem with Mineral oil in my conditioner (I don't like it in my moisturizer, though) and my Motions Moisture Plus  has mineral oil in it as well.

As a matter of fact, the Smooth and Shine Critical Repair and the Motions remind me of each other in how they feel and my hair's response to them.

If I buy it, I buy the tub of it like this:

I have used it and I LOVE it. My hair feels great when I use it. I also like their emergeny reconstructor. i forget the name of it, it comes in a small glass bottle for 99 cts

I've used that once and it made my hair hard. Maybe it was the protein. I think it would have worked better if I put a moisturizing leave in on top maybe. I just put on my serum and let it airdry. Maybe that was a bad idea. :look:

Okay, I tried your combo last night and   I loved it. My hair felt soft and really strong too. I have been using mild protien treatments almost weekly but I think the vitamins in the smooth n shine pack really made the difference. Thanks chica, our hair seems to like the same things.

Sally's has a sale on this for .89 cents I bought one to try but I dropped it, thanks to my cat in my skin and it broke :look:

You know HoneyDew come to think of it, I think my hair doesn't seem to mind mineral oil much either....it hates the heck outta cones, but it shines when I use that Motions Oil Moisture... It seems to like oils in general vs...the big long chemical names that end in "cone"

I might have to try this... my BF used it, and her hair was so soft. She has really thick, coarse hair though. For some reason, though, she said that she didn't like the way it made her hair feel and never used it again, but her hair looked so good when she used the Smooth and Shine!!
