I couldn't find any threads that gave ideas for how SL and shorter natural hairstyles, so I decided to start one. Let's share ideas with each other!
 
Here are mine!!!

The first are two strand twist with cornrows- all my hair. And the second are wet set flexi rods...I believe the orange and purple (??? can't remember) and plucked out

There's twists and bantu knots.

I mostly did twistouts - twistout puffs, twistout updos.

Flat twists or cornrows into a puff.

I've done finger coils too.

Thanks for this thread...I transitioned for 9 months..finally got enough to rock a 'fro (pix in profile album of latest) and I'm trying to decide what to do... ... I'm going to try the bantu knots... I cant braid but hey no time like the present to learn...

What steps did you use to do the wet set with the flexi's? They came out really nice.

I basically just washed as normal, used NTM leave in conditioner on the ends , and rolled. While plucking them I used Carol's Daughter (very over rated brand, but nonetheless) Hair Honey to seperate and somehow it keeps the curls bouncey and stay in longer.

I hope this helps... and I want to see pics!:yep:
