I remember years ago we use to drink the aloe juice straight. and this reminds me to buy my aloe plant too.

Yep I just rediscovered Aloe vera gel also. But I mix like a large tbsp or 2 with my deep conditioner and rinse out. and my hair is noticeably soft and extremely easily to detangle at 4mos post, even before i apply my leave-in. I started using it because i tried it on my face as a moisturizer and my face felt baby-soft...then i apply coconut oil on top of it... my skin glows!!!

When I read all the health benefits of aloe I decided to start taking it internally as well. So far I haven't been consistent though.

since I wear wigs I dulite all my shampoos and conditioners to wash my braids... Recently I startd dulited with AVJ instead of water.... I am in heaven! just an extra boost of moisture in this winter weather!

I mixed food grade Aloe Vera juice/gel with 25 pumps of Fig WEN inside of my scurl bottle (it had about a few tablespoons left inside) shake well then spritz. Very moisturizing so far. :yep:

Must try this!

You're welcome. I'm so glad you liked it. I saw the even better results after using it once and washing it again. I don't know why it seemed better after that because I hadn't even applied the aloe yet (the 2nd time) but noticed that detangling was MUCH easier.

So true my hair was very easy to detangle after coloring tonight.
