She's getting a new look! She has beautiful natural hair that she wears straight alot. I think she cut it in layers and is planning to color. I can't wait to see the finished product. She is one of my fav on youtube. Sorry I can't post the video since I am at work. Check it out ladies.

I enjoy her videos. I love her honesty, but I hate that she feels like she has to explain everything. Youtube is full of people that are straight up four-letter words. Everyone has their opinions. She's tough but sensitive. I'll keep watching.

I understand why she is defensive. She is making videos about how she takes care of her hair and she does what works for her. She content with her hair and doesn't care about heat damage. She doesn't pretend to be a guru or declare her regimen as gospel but people still attack her for what she decides to do with her hair. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I have read the youtube comments and some people are too invested in what someone else decides to do with their hair. Unsolicted advice and product recommendations are not received well online or in real life.

She posted 2 vids of her cousin's BC (Don't really know why it takes 10 videos for one hair style but that's another thread). Anyhoo, on video 1 she was going on and on about the cousin's neglected hair and how she has to chop it all off because it's so damaged. Cool. On video 2, she chopped it all off. It didn't look that bad *to me* on Video 2 so I said something like: It didn't look that bad in this video. I think a chin length bob would have worked. Her response: "I guess you had to been there. You obviously didn't watch the first video". From there I told her I DID watch the first video and the snarkiness wasn't necessary. Then I unsubscribed. Maybe she didn't mean it like that but meh. She is just not very likeable *IMO*

I agree and I actually likes that she takes risks and have fun with her hair. However, I think YT is an open forum and there's no need to get nasty because people respectfully *key word* disagree or offer an alternate perspective. Now if they are coming at you sideways calling you names, personal attacks, or whatever that's another story.

Don't worry about that. I'm sorry for that experience. I try not to comment on people's youtube or on here. I've been making comments more lately, but I hide in the shadows as much as possible. I comment on Msmchy a lot. She's friggin hilarious and doesn't take herself seriously. She's loud and rambles, she seems like she could be that girl you hang out with. And she's gorgeous....I have a girl crush on her after reading what I just put lol

However, I have noticed that about her also. She really takes everything to heart. I am like that too, so I know I can't post vids. She should just ignore it versus making an entire video about the issue and taking hiatuses. I hope she doesn't see this comment.

Anyways, her hair is gorgeous! I could go on and on about her hair. She's most definitely blessed that it grows so fast and is resilient.

IMO, I don't think she has a nasty personality per se. I don't know what your post said, but sometimes the tone isn't obvious in non-verbal communication. She probably just was already on the defense from other comments/vids, but I feel you. Actually, she reminds me of my sister's friend; so I am familiar with her personality type.

This is my first time seeing or hearing about her. I didn't watch the whole thing, but a poster stated earlier that people are always critiquing her hair methods. Maybe that could explain the small bit of hostility. He hurr is pretty.

Just watched the video where she cut the layers. I have never heard of this girl prior, I think her hair is gorgeous. I think she did a great job at cutting her own layers.

She made a reference to her "not washing for 30 days video" so I am watching that now. I am not knocking the next person for doing whatever works for them, and she obviously knows what works best for her hair, but I couldn't go THAT long without cleansing my scalp with some good old H2O just to keep some damn straight hair!
