Sister Twist Tutorial

I found this tutorial last night. It's a twist tutorial but they call them Sister Twists because of the alternate method of twisting used. I thought it was an interesting take on the twist of from what they say the method (twisting the two pieces you twist in counterclockwise and clockwise directions first) makes them last longer. That was the thing that messed me up with their tutorials. The evil rattail.
 
i've watched a few videos with rattail combs and i don't understand. lol maybe im missing something?
 
Isn't this the same thing as a Senegalese twist...but without the extensions??:perplexed
 
I thought the stylist was doing a good job of keeping the models hair moist and getting it that smooth. She clearly has some skills. I only trust my natural hair stylest with a rat tail comb- and you best belive that she has a spray bottle full of water very handy.
 
Wow, I love the lady's natural hair! So beautiful and healthy.
