SINGLE BECAUSE Sin cursed Selfish Society

I was reading the single thread on what a popular radio talk show host said about being single and Black Tuesday for AA women. I never personally heard it but my friend told me bits and pieces. I personally feel that because of sin and the fall mentioned in the Bible that societies value of Womanhood, Manhood, Mothers, Fathers, families, having babies, twisted thinking with same sex promotion and other things has degenerated our society. Songs are put out by rappers degrading women, generations have grown up with twisted ideas of true Manhood. They seem to think true manhood is chasing skirts instead of intelligently befriending a potentential wife. AA society has suffered in this breakdown and degenerated to "THey won't help a brotha out" mentality(SOme NOt ALL HAVE THIS MENTALITY) Gangsta and thug life is glorified. Finding a true honest, clean man is only possible with God. So ladies this is meant for encouragement. Dont feel like there is something necessarily wrong with you we live in a sin cursed society because of bad choices some make. I have volunteered for the prison system and hold church services in our local prison, Minimum security, most ministered to are in for sexual offenses. THe prisons are loaded with men but do we have to settle? Its not all on the men, women have also been corrupted by sin, THe media puts pressure on women to show off everything you got, in order to attract the opposite sex, like My Aunt told me" YOu might get someone if you wore your skirts a little shorter"!!! Anyway a woman grows up thinking she has to concede her modesty in order to get a man but a true man does not even respect a woman who lets it all hang out. When a true man of God wants to get married, where does he go? to the church to select a clean woman. Hope this encourages someone. Not meant for controversy. Be Blessed

thats the way i am feeling right now so in the mean time doing every thing i got to do and not think or worry about it

YES! I totally agree with this. I was brought up with this idea in my teenage years but I really didnt not feel right revealing so much of myself to attract a guy. And anyway, what type of guy would it attract? Not one I would be interested in marrying.
