Simiweave

Its nice,It lays really flat to your head unlike the beauty supply store omega part wig...BUT you should get it longer than you want and cut it because its uneven.

The simiweave sounds like such a great invention! I may have to try one especially because you can DIY... for those that have tried it, what are the pros/cons? TIA!

No, I never tried it before. It looks like a good option for vacation or some time when you'd like to look nice without having to spend lots of time doing your hair.

I don't know what the difference is between a simiweave and an omega part wig...

I didn't really want to resort to wearing a wig/weaves, but while I'm doing this relaxer stretch up until Christmas I may just consider it...

I like the look of the Sophia. If I were trying to be covert though, I'd get the Cheri, and just let people think I cut it. But I usually just say "Ooh, feel it! It's a wig!" etc. if someone asks. I get excited.

There was another thread about these a few weeks ago. Many of the ladies like the "Dee" wig. I like this one too and have been meaning to order it.

Let me see if I can find that thread.

I ordered different ones and ended up sending them back. I could not get the colors or textures to blend. It was mentioned before that their colors are off. 1B is more like a 2. I might give it another shot if they came in a curly texture.

Yes, I wear them and love em. They're very fast and convenient. Plus if the color is off you can always dye it to match your hair. This is the Dee wig w/the left part. I just flat ironed my bangs to match.

Stay away... the clips are sharp and very uncomfortable! and the colour does not match a 1B its closer to a 2 also have a look on blackhairmedia.com and see what people say on there about simiweave too I paid £80.00+ which included postage for a Dee 10" right part weave....The idea of the Simi weave is fantastic however the actual product was a let down for myself.

aw, that sux. i really wanted to try one and was actually googling them last week. From what i saw, i just thought they were called 'u-shape wigs'. i guess i will not order on-line then, rather have a look in person. anyone know of where these are sold in NY? i have not seen them in any BSS i've been to. they just have the cheap lace fronts and reg half wigs....
TIA
