Has anyone ever heard of a silk wrap for hair? I googled it and the only search results I've gotten all pertained to silk wrap for nails.
I was wondering because someone first told me about a silk wrap about 3 months ago and they told me that it is a chemical process that is done to your hair that makes it ultralight and bouncy (almost featherweight because I've touched it). One girl told me that she got hers done at Regis' in the mall. I've seen many people with this now but at first I just thought that those people had a good grade of hair. Now I know that it is a silk wrap.
Can someone please explain this process in detail? Like what is done to your hair, what changes it does to the structure of your hair, is it healthy, etc.? I would love to find out more about this procedure just to see if its worth trying.
