Question Signature Issues

When I try to update my siggy, even when I have entered 5 or less lines, I still keep getting the message saying my siggy is too long, even though the siggy I am trying to change it to is shorter than the one I have now. I've seen lots of people change theirs so I'm guessing the problem isn't universal, but I seem to be having issues.

Signature limits are enforced on all characters not only the visible ones. So for instance in your signature you have a specific font and different colors as well as URLs.

[ FONT = xxxxx ] counts as characters as well as [ /FONT ] etc. So if you count all you will see that most probably you are over the limit.
