I JUST did my hair today (see pic from siggy as it is from today). I took a nap this afternoon with a silk bonnet. I just took it off and I really sweat my hair out. now it looks like a puffball, no where near as silky as it looked earlier. Ok, I refuse to rewash my hair just to straighten it again.

Anyway, I bought some of those flexible rod thingy's. The size I bough are similar to the size of the mcdonalds straw. I would like to use them but this will be my first time. Can anyone give me pointers? Anyone wash their hair the night before, rolled using the rods and took out in the morning? I just don't want to look a hot mess for work tomorrow which is why I did my hair this morning in the first place...:ohwell:

it looks good in the siggy. you did a great job!

*wish i knew how to use those flexirods.*

Isn't it funny how we can look at ou own hair and see a hot mess and other people can look at it and think it looks fine....and vice versa?

I think your hair looks great. I wish I could get my own hair to look so good. I think it would be fine for work just the way it is in your siggy.:)

Thanks for the compliments but uhhh, that pic was taken before the nap :lachen: it don't look like that no mo'. Any rod users have any advice? Can they be used on dry hair?

They can be used on dry hair, but a setting lotion or mouse and end papers would give you greater control during the set.
