Shrinkage still occurs on dry, flat-ironed hair??

Maybe I'm using the wrong term or anti-frizz is an inaccurate description for what the product does, but the serum Frizz-Ease by John Frieda is an anti-frizz serum that keeps moisture out of your hair so humidity or whatever doesn't affect your style. They have a spray you spray before you flat iron and also a serum you can use to seal your hair (or apply to damp hair before you press). I believe both would keep humidity from affecting your hair the way it would without them to block moisture out.

Please share the results. What products do you use? Maybe others can help you figure out if they are helping or not. (I'm not very good with products.)

BTW, I'm glad you were able to understand what I wrote coz that last sentence in my previous post made no sense.

My friend with straight hair that can't hold a curl would kill to have your problem. :giggle:

I use a flat-iron spray before running the actual flat-iron through my hair. It smooths out the frizz in an instant. But my hair isn't "frizzy". It's still smooth and straight-looking. It just starts to spiral, like it goes from this:

I do not do anything special to it. It naturally spirals?? Like my hair just wants to hide and shrink...I think my hair is shy

thats really pretty though! i wish my hair could do that. it looks like a style.

I'm not sure what to tell you to try since my hair does the same thing.

This is how my hair looked on Saturday morning:

This was not even 2 hours later once I was outside shopping (light rain):

It looked pretty cute as it shrank. DH even thought that I curled my hair.

I have BKT but since I'm nearly 90-95% natural, it is not as effective to keep my hair straight.

Flat iron selection , amount of product you put in before blow dry and/or flatiron and technique have a lot to do with it.

It took me a long time to get it so my hairs stays bone straight, is shiny, and has swang:grin: I have not done any recent pics but I have it down to a science. Just keep experimenting with the above mentioned things. With flatiron its about sealing moisture both in and out of hair that prevents any level of reversion.
