ShowerStick Water Softener

Anyone ever used the ShowerStick Water Softener? All other shower filters just filter out chemicals, like chlorine, but don't actually soften the water. This is the only in shower water softener that I'm aware of. Unfortunately, I can't find many reviews.

I have one. It works, but it's annoying to keep resoftening the water every few days. I took it down when I moved places 2 years ago and didn't bother to put it back up

What do you mean that you have to resoften the water every few days?

I've considered getting a water softener, but I wasn't sure if it would be worth it since the water here isn't too hard. Do you mind telling me what benefits you noticed?

I don't remember the exact name of what it's called. But you have to regenerate/recharge the materials in the chamber by filling it with salt water and then running the water. I think you also have to do this with a full home water softener but because the water stick is much smaller you have to do it more frequently. I would literally have to do it every 3-4 days to keep the water soft. When I got tired of doing it that frequently I would just do it on wash days to use the soft water on my hair.

As for benefits, the water definitely FEELS better on skin/hair. It's got this weird slippery feeling and you don't need to use as much soap
Or products. I can't quite remember how my hair benefited. This was at the very beginning of my HHJ when I was doing the most all at once and didn't really know how to listen to my hair.
