SHOULDER LENGTH CHALLENGE MINI UPDATE

Hi guys,
I have been so lazy with my hair school is kicking my butt.
Here is how its been going

THE BAD
1. I switched to a lye relaxer and was so nervous I under processed my hair
2. I had some bad ends and just recently did a mini trim
3. I feel like my hair is thin

THE GOOD
1. SCURL is the bomb!!! it is really helping my new growth and under processed sections
2. I learned how to air dry.
3. It grew a little
4. I am still learning new things everyday



NOW AT 5 WEEKS POST (I stretching for 10)

Its not eye poping progress but it is growing and Im thankful for it

:hiya:Hey Knedgers!!! Keep up the good work. :) Your hair doesn't look thin to me. I know how you feel. First time Lye relaxer application can be a nail bite'n experience. But you will master it.

What type Lye relaxer did you use?
 
I've been using MN. I don't want to be overly optimistic, but barring an major setbacks, it looks like I will have shoulder length hair for my PhD graduation in August. I'll have hair to wear under my funny hat!

hey moni girl!!! How have you been!!? I used silk element for my first lye relaxer. How is your sew in going is you relaxe yet??

your hair is looking great, im natural now but i preferred lye relaxers, you'll
get the hang of it.
 
Your hair looks really good Knedgers. I'm in the SL challenge too, I hope to make it by July. Happy Hair Growing!
