Should I be worried?

I have about an 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches of growth all over my head from the last 3 months........except in the back. Right at the nape of my neck there's no sign of a curl, nap, anything, just straight. Is that a sign that, from years of bad relaxers, my hair isn't gonna grow in that area anymore? That would be the most depressing news I could hear. Anyone else have this problem?

Not really. Maybe you just need to give it a little more time? My hair seems to do this strange see-saw thing. I just relaxed after 14 weeks and I had that same issue with fast growth in the crown (nearly 2.5 inches) not so fast growth in the back (close to 1 inch). I do have some really crazy types in my head though but I just call it all 4-something.

Hair dosen't grow even for everyone, though that would be lovely. It could be that a section of your hair had a growth spurt. I'm thinking thats what happened in my case. if I can get them spurts to happen all over my head that would rock!

My nape definately grows slower than the rest of my head.
