Short haired transitioners

Hi! I am fairly new to this site and I am currently 9 weeks post. I am transitioning to natural. Currently my hair is cut into a chin length bob with bangs. My hair is also growing out in the back from where it was shaved. Right now I have a mini afro in the nape area. I am concerned about how to conceal that area. It may be about a half inch long. I am wondering, for the short haired ladies that are transistioning what kind of styles are you doing? I don't want to have to rely too much on braids and weaves. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Lets see... My hair is shorter then ur hair. I tried to wear me own hair down, but the new growth was crazy so i place my hair in some micros. I know you stated that you dont want to briad your hair so try braid out or pony tail.
