Okay,
So I'm reading the Elasta Raves thread and it says that Kenra owns Elasta, Elucence and someone else too I think.
Then I link to the Havana Beauty Supply Page and look through al of the Elasta Products. The Breakage Control Serum sounds really interesting. It mentions plant proteins and polysaccharides as some of its ingredients. Well, the Elucence Extended Moisture Repair does not list ingredients (it's supposed to be patent-pending or something), but it does tell you on the web site that it has wheat protein (a plant protein ) and polysaccharides. THEN, I see on the Havana Page that the directions for using the Elasta Breakage Control Serum are the EXACT same as the directions for Elucence Extended Moisture Repair.
In light of recent Mizani discoveries, I could not resist the urge to play detective so I jumped into my car /images/graemlins/driver.gif and went to Walgreens to check out the Breakage Control Serum up close and personal. (I'm already a proud owner of the Elucence product). I took the top off of the Elasta in the store. SAME STUFF. SAME LOOK. SAME SCENT. EVERYTHING.
My first thought was that I would not spend $16 any more for the Elucence one. But actually, you're getting the same amount of product per dollar. The Elasta one costs less but the bottle is 1/3 the size.
I am not ragging on either company. I don't think it's a negative--just think it's neat. I'm also a little bit proud of my detective work too /images/graemlins/sekret.gif
