Hello Ladies!

Just wondering what kind of shine product do you use in your hair? What product gives you the most shine?

when i had a press and curl JBCO did the trick
but now that i get roller set the shine isn't the same (im still relaxed) so idk

I can't remember the name completely, but its Olive Oil spray in a green can. That stuff was the bomb!

But, to have real shine, you really need moisturized hair. Try regular Honeyquat and Silk Amino Acid in a moisturizing deep conditioner like Cholesteral, 2x per week. (Love me some SAA!)

I did a pre poo with coconut oil followed with a light condish/detangler.

I had nice shine.

Coconut Oil and Castor Oil both give me really good shine. I've used the ORS Oil Sheen ( the stuff in the green can ) before, but it has alot of cones and mineral oil so it depends on preference.

I noticed that adding honey to my DC helped alot, cosigning on the SAA also - and using Aloe Vera and Glycerin to moisturize gave my hair sheen b/c it was moisturized from within as opposed to shiny b/c of something I put on it.

OH - Lacio Lacio for any kind of roller set will give you ridiculous shine.

Coconut oil makes my hair very shiny!! :spinning: Also, the Biosilk serum.

My hair is freshly relaxed so that could be it or it could be the Mango Butter I've been using, it leaves my hair very shiny

When I blow dry... Shine serums don't work for me. They just sort of dissolve and leave no shine. :perplexed I have wasted my $$ on shine serum.

When I wash n go, castor/EVOO or coconut is great for shine.

Broccoli seed oil gives crazy shine
Lacio leave-in
dark hair
keeping hair at a good pH so cuticles lay flat

Coconut oil and Aphogee's Glossing Drops work for me. If you want a longer lasting shine, you could try a clear rinse, like a cellophane. A lot of women have gotten a nice shine from using henna. And, Dlewis has gotten amazing shine results from using ghee.

-Coconut oil
-Perfect Results Strawberry Hair & Body Oil
-Profectiv Oil Sheen
