Shikakai Oil vs. Shikakai Power

I went to purchase the powder and found they have an oil. Can I purchase the Shikakai Enriched Hair Oil instead of the powder to avoid the need for mixing - then - straining?

Just wondering will the end result be the same, or does something happen to the properties when mixing the powder - that your hair needs and can only be obtained through the powder?
