I just found some shea butter that I used to use on my elbows and knees etc. Is that okay to use on my ends? It's not specifically for hair, but it says 100% shea butter. I'd forgotten that I even had it.

What do you think?

that is fine, that is how all shea butter products , even the expensive ones start off after the process of boiling and cooling, so it's ok

Thanks Dee. It does have a funky smell, but I'm going go give it a shot on my ends. I don't think it's coincidence that I found it.

Shea butter is wonderful for the hair, you can use it for skin and hair.

I love using unrefined sheabutter on my ends!

I use shea butter on my hair and feet! Its universal.
