Shea butter? Coconut oil?

Hello ladies i was wondering if anyone can tell me
how to use coconut oil and shea butter. I use both for
hot oil treatments but i want to know if there are other
ways to use them thank you

Right now I use coconut oil as my everyday hair oil. I scrap a little from the tub (I have a gallon container of it). I melt it in my hands and apply it to my hair. When I used shea butter in the past, I mixed it with jojoba oil or coconut oil and applied it to my hair after washing it. I am pretty sure I melted the shea butter as well but it has been so long since I have used it.
