Her hair is gorgeous! I don't think she uses too much heat. Obviously it works for her. Her parts were thick, she's natural, and she uses really good products, so I think it's safe to assume that she knows what works best for her hair.

Hi everyone, I've been a lurker since last summer but I've decided to jump on in!
Her hair is lovely, but it's probably more naturally wavy than kinky. I have a good friend who looks very much like her and has the same type of hair. She's ALWAYS had it. Looks like good genes to me.
BTW-- I am boycotting Andre's numbered hair system. There are SO many more variations in texture than he describes that IMO his system does women a disservice.

Wow her hair is BEAUTIFUL.. It's long, silky, thick and not dry looking. I sounds as if she's been straightening for a long time.. her hair may be heat trained (re those who question her natural texture).. So it straightens a lot easier than someone who rarely straightens their hair.

Yeah, I didn't realize that one could brush the hair while/before straightening, which makes sense if you're not using a MaxiGlide. I'm gonna try that technique, when my hair gets that long (and it will, fingers crossed). Does anyone know which flat iron she's using? I love the design. Aall I could come up with is the Earth Flat Iron from Chi. Does anyone know?

I believe she is using an "Amika" flat iron
She said in the video that she was using the amika flat iron and she discussed the colors that they come in.............
