AAWWW Ateyaa! She was the first video I ever watched when my hair first got chopped off. Had to abandon her because I didn't care for all the wig videos but her hair does look nice.

I'm happy for her too. I'm especially happy that she is now stretching, protective styling and cutting down on the heat. I needed a cold towel on my head after a few of those earlier videos. She is starting retain more length now.

I was wondering the same thing. I remember she was in a Motions ad and she was using their products.

Ateyaa is an extremely popular youtuber on the black hair/beauty scene. She's controversial because of some of her hair care practices & product promotions...I always liked her, though I did grow bored with the wig reviews. A lot of Ateyaa threads were shut down on LHCF at the height of the drama, but that's old news. She's has a great personality and has remained popular. She was known for her "swang" before she had a bad sew-in take down, etc.....there's a lot to it.

Anyhow, her hair looks fabulous. I'm glad she's keeping it healthy. For some reason, I'm never that impressed when people stretch with weaves...I mean, why was she relaxing her hair just to braid it back up and wear a wig or weave. *shrugs*
