SF/Bay Area Salon Help

Hi Ladies,

I am visiting Northern California (San Francisco/Oakland/Richmond/Castro Valley etc) for a month and really need to visit an affordable hair salon. Will you guys please recommend someone. Preferably a Dominican Salan and/or one that focuses on the health of the hair. BTW my hair is pretty short as I did the big chop last year around November. I certainly need a cut to shape things up.

Does the cost matter? I can recommend a great salon in s.f. (took me years to find one!), but it's pretty expensive.

I'm not sure how this fits into your price range - but there is a shop in Oakland called Your Natural Self. Jacqui is GREAT and they do everything from color/perms/ twists etc. 510-452-3445 and it's by the lake. HTH.
