I'm sick of my hair and want a realistic protective style. Are most stylists good w/ lace fronts? My stylist says she can do it but I haven't seen one done by her so I am side-eyeing her hard. Even if she can, what is the upkeep like? I rarely wear makeup so I wouldn't want to put make up on it.

I'm thinking maybe just risking a leave out and dealing with the heat damage. I already have so much heat damage in the front what's a little more gonna do. That's how done with my hair I am, at least until I can get to a new milestone.

Thoughts/suggestions?

I really don't like wigs.

box braids? cotchet braids? goddess locs?

Box braids are def an option, they are only lower on the list because taking them out is a ****, and the longer my hair gets, the less cutting I can do and the more unbraiding it takes. Freaking kills me. But now that I think about it probably the better option......

Not a fan of crochet it always looks big and bulky. Gotta look up goddess locs.
