Setting lotion on Twist/Braid outs...

Has anyone ever used setting lotion when doing a twist/braid out on natural hair? I was wondering if this would control frizz and make the style last longer without having to retwist every night. If so, what was your experience using the setting lotion verses without?

I've never done this but I plan on trying it. Need to buy some setting lotion next time I am out

I was watching dprincess las night on you tube and she said she used it mixed with water to keep her natural curl looking as it does when wet.
