I want to straighten.again but dont.know What to buy ....i used to put both...is it too much?

I.mean i guess 1is to protect (spray) and the serum to help straighten ? I heard if there are too much products it smells burnt when you straighten

IMO The best thing to use is a serum that doubles as a heat protectant (It will say on the bottle) after your leave in.

Your right about less product for straightening days. You could also use spray heat protectant and a little serum on top; you may need to experiment to see what works best for you.

i used dime amount of serum and i like the heat protectant spray because using the heat protectant serum weighted my hair down and it was bouncy and flowy.

What brand of heat protectants/serums are people using?

I useit both. I have the Elasta qp thermal spray Silk...that I spray on damp hair before blowdrying. Then I use Redden Smooth Down Glide heat serum afterwards before I flat iron.
