Seriously, why is this person supposed to make me buy this.

Okay, I was searching for some info on no-lye relaxers when I ran across this site for different products from a small label called Landon's Own. Now on the main page, they have a couple of different pictures of women *customers I assume* well this one black chick's hair is HORRIBLE looking, why would I buy the product seeing her hair? And she's got a BIG pic on the products page, see for yourself http://www.landonsown.com/products.html

Would this woman entice you to buy these products :nono:

Unless that is the after picture and the stylist tried to give her a nouveau-shag. Those sometimes make "textured hair" (new term for "ethnic/curly hair" used by many white stylists now) look untidy and even damaged.

The whole picture is :ahwell:, the hair "style", the choice of outfit...I mean come on.

Yeah Bo, I hate when white stylists bring out the razor for "textured hair" all that's gonna do is give someone a choppy dumb hairstyle with split ends!

No way would I buy that product, that girl, and everyone on their home page looks a wreck.........(except that lady with a low Halle Berry cut she looks fine.......)

Is the picture on the 1rst page of the website "Landon"? She also has a forum on her site...maybe it would be a good question to ask if that is really her.

Her site says she has been doing hair or developing her products for 8 years...the pictures dont impress that upon me. But maybe I am missing something.

I need more information.

Nope, that person is a "model", too. Landon is a guy. In the testimonials they say "he" when referring to Landon.

Whew! Ok...that makes more sense. Then yes, he could have chosen a better model if he wanted to impress me to spend my money on his product. Her hair does not look unneccesarily bad/unhealthy...just disheveled.

I wouldn't buy this product :nono: , heck the Model Look like she just woke up out of bed WTH lol

It looks like they tried to do a razor shag (which works well with white hair) on this girl. How unflattering. It looks like she didn't comb her hair after waking up in the morning.

Well, I have to say one thing. At least it's not a weaved up model promoting a product that will not make your actual hair look like the weave displayed.
BUT, I wouldn't buy it...no.

I was going to say the same thing, at least she hasn't got on a weave or naturally straight hair as most of the relaxer ads are guilty of doing. Either that or jacked up natural hair implying that a relaxer would be the answer...

I know this is a stupid question but doesn't those razor shags promote split ends?

They could've at least put some make up on her and took some professional pictures. I wouldn't buy it because it looks low rent.
