:reddancer: :reddancer: I couldn't wait for the weekend to try the dryer. One time, I was unable to delay gratification.

i'm stepping up my routine, my wash day last week was literally shampoo and condition in shower lol

today
oil/scalp massage - hot six oil
oiled length-almond oil
sleeping with a plastic cap
tomorrow
shampoo- johnsons baby shampoo
after- bentonite clay (if I can be bothered)
condition- organics cholesterol
leave in-parnavu t tree leave in conditioner
quick tension blow dry to stretch hair
twist adding grease to ends (helps them to stay twisted, smooths and shine)
wear twistout for the week with no further manipulation

notes: I liked the scalp massage and oiling. The shampoo with bentonite after was definitely too much. the conditioner left my hair very soft but zero slip. I didn't use enough leave in to judge it so i'll try again next week.

Today I…

Finger detangled my hair after misting lightly with water and dabbing some coconut oil on my fingers.
Prepooed with APB Goat Milk and Honey Mask (steamed for 20 mins)
Clarified with Dr. Bronners Castile Soap in Peppermint
Just applied a full henna treatment - about to steam for 1 hr, let it cool for another hr.
Rinse thoroughly
Steam DC with APB ultraconditioning souffle for 30 mins
Back into celies for another month.

In 7-9 sections on each side ....

Prepoo w/ heat - Brahmi oil on scalp, EVCO on length spritz with water

Wash w/ Terressentials Lavender and finger detangle

Oil Rinse with BASK Apple Sorghum

Coffee/Tea Rinse ACV Rinse

Twist the sections up into Bantu knots...air dry for a couple of hours

Blow dry on low, twisting the same sections back up after

Put in a bun

....Tomorrow I'll take the twists down but still put it in a bun of some sort

Sounds like a lot but with exception of the air drying it takes no time at all

Your thoughts????

IDareT'sHair it's not bad at all. My natural hair liked it a little more than my relaxed ends. Enough for it to be in the stash occasionally. Hair wasn't super soft but it is moisturized enough. It's not a must buy, more of a nice to have but not necessary for me. I still grabbed a 2nd jar from her current sale (everything on sale for $5, $8, or $10 until October 2).

Prepoo and detangle: Softee oil of some sort and Tressame Naturals conditioner

Co-cleanse: KV 4n1 treatment

Protein Rx: Claudie's normalizing conditioner topped with ceramide oils

Moisture DC: SD razzberry coconut conditioner topped with EVOO/KV super ego oil

ACV: Claudie's normalizing rinse

M&S: ????

Sunday night I plan to soak overnight with evoo/red palm oil
Then shampoo with diluted ors aloe
Then do a quick rinse with roux condish
Follow up with ors mayo
Apply a tea rinse green/roobios and top with the last bit of my kizuri cocoa DC
Lastly do a rinse with roux condish

Bun Mistress,

What does licorice root tea do for your hair? I haven't heard of this before.

I have used this before. Great for curly kinky hair.

Per the source:
Licorice root is internally soothing as a tonic tea is a sweet remedy for frizzy, flyaway hair.

Said to smooth soften and revive. Recommended for unmanageable or frizzy hair.
