Maybe it's where I live but that is all I see most of the ladies wearing these days almost to the point that I In fact I want to learn how to put them in myself .. Do you see the same trend in your area with braids

I'm in NY and have been wearing them since January. I don't really notice it on that many heads but it could be because of where I live/ work. I've seen a few of the mambo Havana twists style on a couple of ladies, but most of the time when I see someone with braids it's still the traditional box braid method.
 
Have some in now that I put in myself..in love! The key is to make the front cornrows the same size as the actual twists so they look realistic.

I plan to try this sometime in June after I watch a few YouTube tutorials
 
I'm doing these!! I don't like the twists for some reason. I'm doing this exact color too!
