So I have been getting black semi-permanent rinses in my hair for the past couple of years to give my hair a silky shine. However, the last time I went to the salon the semi-permanent rinse that the stylist gave me left my hair black, but DULL and DRY looking. Worst of all it left my hair feeling like straw. I have washed my hair three time since then, although my hair is not as hard anymore (but not as soft as my hair is naturally) it still looks dull. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and what did you do about it. Is there anything that I can do?

Redken Shades EQ Conditioning Color has a clear gloss (demi-permanent) that I think would give you that shine that you want.

thanks, where can i buy it?

You have to be a professional or student to purchase the product. I can get it for you but you might want to ask your hairdresser if he/she can get it to use on your hair.

Here is a link where you can read a little about it (it's another salon's website but you can get an idea of the color and service).
