What prompted you to self-relax? Were you concerned about relaxing with BAQ henna? Did you have any problems? What did you notice about your hair?

To cut my costs I'm considering doing it myself... I use Jamilla and have been relaxed and happy. But because I'm poor and am not trying to go into debt, I need a viable alternative to salon relaxing. Help me. :look:

I self-relax. My first relaxer was put on by my cousin when I was 17. I've never been to a salon for a relaxer. I've only had my hair done by a professional maybe 3 times (1 press, 1 color, 1 cut). I didn't like any of them.

I didn't notice anything at all after using BAQ. It was a little dry if I used ACV in the mix, or if I didn't DC afterwards but that's it.

Can you spell out BAQ for me please? I don't know what that means and my search option does not work. Thanks
