Seeking help please

Southern sweetheart
Well, first off I would like to say how much I love this site. Everyone is so full of wonderful and helpful advice. So, now I am seeking some help please! I am 7 months into my transition and I am losing so much hair.

I did a protein treatment today with Palmer's Coconut Protein Conditioner because I thought it would help with shedding and breakage. Big mistake. Not only did I end up with a sink full of hair but it looks like it is coming out in clumps!

Can someone help me please? I am at my wits end!:crying3:

When I transitioned, my hair would snap off right at the point where the natural met the perm. It did it every time I washed. It doesn't look like you have a lot of hair in the sink at all but if you're not used to seeing ANY, I can see where that would bug you. Hopefully the ladies can give you some great advice, I'm pretty useless on the hair thing but I don't really see any cause for alarm.

I agree it doesn't look like you lost too much hair. If your hair is feeling rough or hard from the protein treatment, up your moisture. DC with a moisturizing conditioner and follow up with a good moisturizing leave in until your hair feels normal again. Also make sure to concentrate on your demarcation line when you moisturize.
