has anyone used it.......my stylist told me it was the bomb, but tre' expensive.......supposed to be a super duper deep conditioner......

I LOVE 2-in-1. My stylist used to wash my hair, apply the sebastian and then use a flat iron on small sections. My hair is super-dense and it was very long at the time, so she switched up and started using aluminum foil (wrapping it around my entire head and sticking me under the dryer).

My hair was always soft, silky and felt freshly relaxed. The one thing that you have to be cautious of is not overusing, but I don't remember why. I recall her telling me to use it only every other month. The down side is it only comes in a commercial bottle, which used to be $50. I think the last bottle I bought cost only $45, but it's incredible. I'm definitely a Sebastian junkie

Oh good. I've been eyeing this stuff at the Wegman's. Only eyeing because its $40.00 a bottle, but I think I just may get some now!

Certain BSS stores sell the "one time" use packets - usually behind the counter. Some Ulta stores do as well. I have a big bottle, but I wasn't blown away by it the first couple of uses (especially considering the price I paid), so it sat under my sink for about 6 months. I started using it again in May after my last relaxer because I needed to get rid of old products and my hair was feeling a little mushy. But I only used heat for 5 minutes. After I come from under the dryer, I wrapped my head in a towel to hold in the heat. That worked better for me - less tangling.

why the foil?????

The 2 + 1 is supposed to be applied to hair in sections, with a flatiron pressed on the foil for a few moments. The bottle (or the sebastian website, don't remember which) said results would not be the same if you try just sitting under the dryer with it.
