What do you like about this product? What do you hate about it? How do you use it?

I know it's been around for some time and most Dominican salons use it, but i don't ever remember having tried this product. All i've used was the aphogee (and emergencee which i hated). so hook this reformed pj up with some info.

I've been using this for about 2 years now. I can't say there is anything that I dislike about this product. I use it about every 4-6-8 weeks, whenever I feel like it. The price is reasonable to me and the bottle lasts awhile since as you don't need to use it too often. It does a good job of stopping breakage in its tracks.

You have to be very very careful when you wash it out because it is strong. As a matter of fact, (a little tip that I picked up from the hairdresser) I shampoo it out and then moisturize condition. I think this is a good idea to do with any heavy duty protein treatment. I like the results better this way also. I shampoo my hair once or twice, apply the Penetraiit and sit under dryer for about 20 minutes then I shampoo it out once and apply a moisturizing conditioner.

@ Nice - i don't remember y i didn't like it but when i was younger and frequented the salons more, i tried the nexxus products and none of them worked for me. i guess i could try it again but im scurrrreddd

My hair stylists used to use this on my hair and I loved it. It made my hair very soft and manageble and I really think this is what got my hair on the right track to being healthy. I had been looking all over for it to buy and I finally found it last week at the Duane Reade on 125th street. I didn't pick it up though only because I think right now I am using enough products on my hair as it is but I really do like this stuff.

Everything. I use this product every 6 weeks. I feel that it does as it states: it protects the hair strand and prevent nicks and little tears in the hair fibers. I think it is a better designed product than Aphogee. However if price or availability is an issue Aphogee can get the job done.

I wish it was cheaper but then again it is worth the price. If you look hard you can find it for 19.99.

How do you use it?
This is very extreme so you may not want to follow it. I use Dudley's DRC-28 then follow it with Penetraitt, then follow with Biolage Ultra rehydrating conditioner.
